AEC, INC.

Ernie Brache, FAA DER, President

Ernie Brache began his career in the aerospace industry as an avionics technician in 1973, and is today, an avionics systems integration engineer and FAA DER. In 1984, he founded AEC, Inc. as a small minority owned business near Portland, Oregon, focused on the writing of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) in support of STC projects. As President and owner, Ernie has overseen AEC's 24 years of successful growth based almost exclusively on referrals from highly satisfied customers.

AEC also supports Original Equipment Manufacturers by writing Component Maintenance Manuals that support TSO and PMA certification in addition to installation and operation manuals. As a forward looking entrepreneurial company, AEC has developed proprietary software and tools that deliver highly customizable manuals with high reutilization and efficiency. Ernie's stewardship and commitment to long term customer relationships has established AEC as an aerospace industry leader in the authoring of technical publications and certification support.

Skip and Ernie have known each other for more than 20 years and worked together on a number of successful projects while at Global Wulfsberg Systems. Ernie’s specialized talents and focus on customer satisfaction make him, and AEC, valuable partners to SF&A.
